dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance
team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in
ensuring the compliance and efficiency of our accounting and
financial practices. You will work closely with our finance team
and external partners to maintain accurate financial records, help
with month end close procedures, manage tax filings, internal
audits, and contribute to our commitment to sustainability.Why join

- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial
statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual
budgets and provide financial forecasting to support
- Cost Analysis: Analyze product costs, production costs, and
operational expenses to identify areas for cost reduction and
- Month-End and Year-End Closing: Lead the month-end and year-end
closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
and company policies.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file various tax returns, including
sales tax, income tax, and other relevant filings. Stay updated on
tax regulations affecting the food industry.
- Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors during
financial audits and ensure all documentation and records are
accurate and readily accessible.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile and maintain general ledger
accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and

trends, and recommendations to management to support strategic
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline
accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance
efficiency and accuracy.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date with accounting standards,
regulations, and industry trends to ensure the company's financial
practices remain in compliance.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with
at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior accounting role.
- Previous experience in the food distribution or manufacturing
industry is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or
similar), Microsoft Excel, and other relevant financial tools.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
(GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen
attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet
deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to
collaborate with cross-functional teams and external
