Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage and maintain our financial records. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting, supporting daily financial operations, and assisting with various accounting tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent organizational skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Record Maintenance:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.

    Financial Statements Preparation:

    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.
    • Support the annual reporting process and review revenue and expenditure accounts as needed.

      Bank Reconciliation and Cash Management:

      • Perform bank account reconciliation processes to ensure the accuracy of cash in bank accounts.
      • Monitor daily cash reports and financial data to ensure proper recording and identify discrepancies.

        Payroll Support:

        • Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll using QuickBooks.
        • Ensure timely and accurate payroll transactions.

          Data Analysis and Reporting:

          • Analyze financial data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
          • Provide recommendations for corrective actions based on financial analysis.
          • Generate and review financial reports for accuracy and completeness.

            Support Financial Operations:

            • Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.
            • Provide financial guidance and support to department heads to align financial decisions with organizational goals.

              Compliance and Documentation:

              • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
              • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.

                Other Duties:

                • Perform other accounting and bookkeeping duties as assigned.


                  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting position is preferred.
                  • Proven ability to manage multi-company accounting.

                    Technical Skills:

                    • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
                    • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online with at least 1 year of experience.

                      Skills and Abilities:

                      • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
                      • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
                      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
                      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
                      • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
                      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

                        Educational Requirements:

                        • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

                          Working Conditions:

                          • This position may require occasional overtime to meet reporting deadlines.
                          • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
