Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in providing comprehensive at-home
healthcare, is looking for a Feeding Speech Language Pathologist to
join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in helping pediatric
patients develop and enhance their feeding and communication skills
within the familiar surroundings of their homes. Working in
coordination with a multidisciplinary team, the Feeding Speech
Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat feeding and
swallowing disorders, while also educating and supporting families
in achieving long term success and improved quality of life. Assess
and diagnose children with feeding and swallowing difficulties.
Develop and implement targeted treatment plans based on individual
patient needs. Monitor and document patient progress and adjust
treatments as necessary. Educate and collaborate with family
members and other caregivers to support patient outcomes.
Participate in multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and
advocate for patient needs. Maintain patient confidentiality and
adhere to all professional and regulatory guidelines. Expert
knowledge of pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. Ability to
create and execute detailed treatment plans. Strong interpersonal
and communication skills, with an emphasis on working with
children. Proficient in documentation and patient management
software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
(CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Specific training or certification in pediatric feeding and
swallowing is highly preferred.
