Job Description:
Touchstone Communities is seeking a dedicated Weekend RN
Supervisor to join our team, providing exceptional care to our
senior residents in a long-term care setting. This pivotal role
encompasses both supervisory and hands-on responsibilities,
focusing on ensuring the highest standards of health services
during weekends. The ideal candidate will not only supervise
nursing staff but also ensure compliance with health and safety
regulations, and coordinate with physicians and other healthcare
professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Supervise and evaluate
nursing staff on weekends. Ensure compliance with all healthcare
regulations. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor patient care and respond to medical emergencies. Maintain
accurate patient records and report any significant changes in
condition. Develop and implement staff schedules and manage shifts.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Proficient in nursing
practices and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Ability to make swift decisions in emergencies. Knowledge
of healthcare laws and regulations. 401k Active Registered Nurse
(RN) license in the state of Texas. CPR and BLS certified.
