Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties, as assigned, including cross training across other departments, as necessary.Provides administrative assistance to the Purchasing Assistant and Purchasing ManagerPerforms a wide variety of clerical duties for the Purchasing departmentOrganizes inventory rooms and advises regarding stock levelsPicks up various documents as scheduled during the business day from bank branch locations and business centers consisting of customers' processed banking transactions, related internal documents, internal correspondence, outgoing mail, reports and other miscellaneous items for delivery to bank data processing center and mail hubMakes deliveries as scheduled to bank branch locations and business centers consisting of internal correspondence, reports, incoming mail and other miscellaneous documents from the distribution hubPicks up mail from the U.S. Post Office and assists in its sorting and processingMaintains designated courier vehicle according to prudent mechanical performance functionality and cleanlinessParticipates in job specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessary Maintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policyMaintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operationsMaintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AMLQUALIFICATIONSThese specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.A High School Diploma or GED and a valid Texas driver's licenseAt least 25 years of age and insurable with a good driving recordOne to two years of secretarial or administrative assistant experience is desiredOne to two years of prior experience in courier deliveries is desiredComputer literacy in Windows, Internet, Microsoft Excel and WordGood interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesConscientious driver and committed to adhering to safety standardsAbility to move heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds and to withstand extended periods of sittingAbility to work a flexible scheduleBilingual in English and Spanish is desiredORGANIZATIONThis position reports to the Purchasing ManagerThis position does not oversee other positionsTRAINING REQUIREMENTSAll employees are required to attend scheduled mandatory trainings and complete online regulatory compliance training courses applicable to their specific job function.
