Based in our Pharr, Texas location, you will be a Business Partner at Emerson Tool Company Pharr Operations who can handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic and fast paced environment. As the HR Manager, you are expected to oversee all aspects of people management and organization development at the warehouse. You will be responsible for overseeing programs such as compensation and benefits, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management. You will also be a champion for employee safety and ethics in the workplace. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.AS A HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER, YOU WILL:* Day-to-day responsibility for overall Warehouse payroll and benefits administration, including the management of the Oracle payroll system and benefits enrollment. Main point of contact for employees regarding payroll and benefits questions.* Prepare the annual Wage proposal for hourly employees in the warehouse. Monitor workforce trends in the region including wage and salary, turnover, and benefits offerings to maintain competitive rewards for employees. Recommend appropriate pay structure and benefit updates/changes to sustain competitiveness in the local market.* Oversight of recruiting processes for all full-time and temporary employees including requisition process, screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates. Manage relationships with temp agencies.* Oversee the new hire onboarding and orientation programs. Assure all appropriate trainings are delivered to new employees.* Prepare and maintain biannual reports for Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Create Affirmative Action plans for the Warehouse based on EEO reports.* Manage employee relations issues and assist in policy creation and adherence across the warehouse. Coaching Managers and Supervisors regarding employee relations and ensure dynamic discipline process where appropriate.* Oversee performance management program working with managers and supervisors to provide feedback to employees and plans for improvement on the job.* Plan and execute the Communication plan for the site. Coordinate Quarterly All-Employee Meetings, Monthly Meeting with Managers & other employee meetings to encourage open discussion with management.* Coordination of Service Awards Program and other recognition for employees.* Manage employee opinion survey process and ensure all action items are completed.* Organize and ensure Emerson compliance programs, such as Retention, Conflict of Interest and Ethics program are followed.* Along with the Warehouse Manager, be a champion in promoting and improving employee safety. Participate on the safety committee and ensure safe practices are always followed.* Oversee EHS Initiatives, Safety programs and monitor safety statistics through the supervison of the Safety Specialist on site.* Supervise the HR Coordinator with monthly billing and payment of invoices, contract hourly employee recruitment and orientation, sign-in records for C-TPAT certifications, coordination of other events and meetings.WHO YOU ARE:You act with a clear sense of ownership. You can handle and manage crises and rebouding from adversity when facing a difficult situation.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:* Bachelor's degree in Human Resouces, Business or related field* Miniumum 5 Years of experience in Human Resources* Experience working with hourly employees in manufacturing and/or distribution center settings* Biligual (English/Spanish)* Ability to travel up to 15% of the time* Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this positionPREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:* Master's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field* Care for people, passion for the business and for creating resultsScheduleWe offer the flexibility of a core hour work schedule.
