About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at CarMax. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our vehicles.Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and recondition vehicles to meet CarMax's high standards
• Diagnose and repair complex technical issues
• Work collaboratively with other technicians to solve problems and meet deadlines
• Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
• Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organizationRequirements
  • Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning
  • Knowledge of health and safety compliance
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina, with ability to lift heavy objects and walk/stand for extended periods
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
